In the previous episodes, Park Ji Hoon's alter ego bid goodbye to Hong Ye Ji after he decided to wave the white flag in romance.

However, he breaks his own promise in "Love Song For Illusion" episode 11, overcoming himself with his own presence. Meanwhile, Ji Woo shows her true colors and her real purpose inside the palace.

Ak Hee Returns For Yeon Wol

"Love Song For Illusion" episode 11 begins with Ak Hee (Park Ji Hoon) finally coming out of Sajo Hyun's body to save Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji).

He cuts his own flesh and bleeds in front of the people who regard him as an evil spirit, proving that he's a human living inside the king's body.

Meanwhile, Yeon Wol is disappointed about Ak Hee. She suspects that shaman Chung Ta (Hwang Seok Jeong) poisoned Sajo Hyun.

It turns out to be true, paralyzing his "space of mind" which doesn' allow him to move his body. Elsewhere, Ak Hee imprisons Sajo Yung (Hwang Hee) for his crimes.

A Virus Plagues Joseon

An unknown virus spreads around the capital, causing people to fall on the ground. Hwang Ga Ron (Min Seon Hong), the fourth prince, also becomes ill.

Because of this, Ak Hee and Yeon Wol work hard together to find the right herbs that can cure the disease, making the fourth prince's condition quickly improve.

At the palace, Geum Hwa (Ji Woo), the queen, becomes pregnant. Unbeknownst to them, she bears Ji Jeon Seo's (Han Eun Seong) child.

Will Ak Hee Survive?

She announces that it's Sajo Hyun's child, revealing true colors. Elsewhere, Ak Hee embraces Yeon Wol, however, the latter only wants Sajo Hyun.

Feeling bitter, Ak Hee secretly meets up with Chung Ta who now has female and male bodies. It's Sajo Yung's trick to detoxify Sajo Hyun and finally rid Ak Hee from his body.
