Han Hyo Joo's new K-drama, "Blood Free," is making rounds of noise on social media as the actress returns to the small screen with an interesting series.

Teaming up with Jun Ji Hoon, the duo headlines the sci-fi suspense thriller that depicts the story of CEO Yoon Ja Yoo (Han Hyo Joo), who wants to make a drastic change in how humans consume food through her genetic engineering company, BF Group.

However, with a promise of producing artificially cultured meat in 2025, she became the target of protests, putting her life on the line.

This is where she hired Woo Chae Woon (Joo Ji Hoon), a former officer who entered BF Group as CEO Yoon's bodyguard.

Released on April 10, Disney+ delivered the first two episodes of the sci-fi series featuring a star-studded cast.

'Moving'

Before her appearance in "Blood Free," Han Hyo Joo headlined another Disney+ series.

The actress joined Jo In Sung, Ryu Seung Ryong, Cha Tae Hyun, and more in the star-studded K-drama "Moving."

She played the role of Lee Mi Hyun, a former agent who is raising her son as a single mother.

Other than Han Hyo Joo's amazing character, viewers also loved her chemistry with Jo In Sung as they played parents to Lee Jung Ha's character Kim Bong Seok.

'Happiness'

If you are into the K-Zombie series, you'll definitely get hooked on the action thriller K-drama "Happiness."

Han Hyo Joo transformed into special agent Yoon Sae Bom, who encountered an infected trainee at the Special Operations Unit.

Due to this, her place was locked down for quarantine, and she was stuck with her best friend and detective, Jung Yi Hyun.

During the quarantine, the duo and their neighbors struggled to survive the wide spread of the virus, which brought out the best and worst of the residents.

'W'

Another thriller romance series featuring Han Hyo Joo is "W" with Lee Jong Suk.

She plays Oh Yeon Joo, a cardiothoracic surgeon who was pulled into the webtoon world written by her father, where she meets the story's main character, Kang Chul, played by Lee Jong Suk.

Viewers were drawn to the fictional story of the rich and handsome lead character, Oh Yeon Joo, who was trapped in the webtoon.

Interestingly, she discovered a unique way to leave and return to the webtoon, and that is based on Kang Chul's feelings.

In addition, the "W" cast also includes Kim Eui Sung as Han Hyo Joo's father and Oh Sung Moo, the artist behind the webtoon.

Adding to the list is Kang Ki Young as Yeon Joo's co-worker, Kang Suk Bum.
