‘Blood Free’ Episode 5: Han Hyo Joo Saves Ju Ji Hoon Through an Experiment
"Blood Free" Episode 5 featured an attack on BF Group's CEO, Yoon Ja Yoo (Han Hyo Joo). However, the incident left her bodyguard, Woo Chae Woon (Ju Ji Hoon) severely hurt.

A suspense-thriller released by Disney+, the story depicts the mission of genetic engineering enterprise BF Group to produce a new wave of artificially cultured meat in 2025.
However, with the CEO's mission to change the way humans consume meat, the public is unprepared for this kind of drastic change.
Due to this, Yoon Ja Yoo is dealing with a lot of protests and threats from people around her, including her team.
As a result, she hires former military officer Woo Chae Woon to become her bodyguard. Little does she know that Chae Woon has a secret mission.
'Blood Free' Episode 5: What Will Be the Effect of the Experiment on Woo Chae Woon?
The fifth episode continued with CEO Yoon's group being cornered by the rebels. As Woo Chae Woon took the lead, he was severely shot in the upper body, leaving him to lose a lot of blood.

Thankfully, On San was able to track the CEO and call police for reinforcement.
Due to the excessive loss of blood, Yoon Ja Yoo instructed her group to bring Chae Woon to the basement, where he would be treated.
However, CEO Yoon decided to put Chae Woon in an experiment to see if their plan would succeed and help him with survival. They decided to treat him using cultured tissue, with Yoon Ja Yoo being hopeful that this would be their first success story.
The CEO was thrilled with the result after seeing the positive effects on Woo Chae Woon.
Upon waking up, Woo Chae Woon knew that he had undergone an experience and confronted the CEO about it. Yoon Ja Yoo told her bodyguard that they didn't do any transplants but used cultured tissue to cure him.
Unfortunately, Woo Chae Woon realized that the effect of this included having extremely heightened hearing senses, so that even a minimal sound seemed like a bomb exploding for him.
This was because his cochlear nerves were severely damaged due to the explosion from his previous mission.
As for the group that targeted the CEO, Seon Woo Jae found out that Bosque Archi collaborated on the attack and was in line with the negotiation with drug supply rights.
In exchange, they would kill Yoon Ja Yoo.
