Rowoon looked back at his experience joining "A Time Called You" for a cameo role, headlined by Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin.

Here's what he said.

Here's Why Rowoon Finds Couple Scene With Ahn Hyo Seop in 'A Time Called You' Annoying

During his appearance on the YouTube channel "Jo Hyun Ah's Thursday Night," the 27-year-old heartthrob dished on his unforgettable character, where he played as Tae Ha, Koo Yeon Jun's (Ahn Hyo Seop) love interest.

When the host, Jo Hyun Ah, complimented Rowoon, saying that same-sex dramas suit him well, the actor revealed his honest thoughts about the scene.

He revealed that it was Ahn Hyo Seop who personally asked him to join for a special appearance as his lover in "A Time Called You," and he agreed to his request.

Rowoon then recalled the scenes that they had to do, which included holding hands.

However, when asked about his honest thoughts regarding the scene, he described it as "very annoying."

"It was very annoying, and we both felt that way. There was a scene where we had a conversation on the rooftop, and I didn't like being focused on."

Rowoon added that since they were close friends, it was more "meaningful" than challenging as for the acting part.

"Since he's a friend I like, it's meaningful to make a special appearance in a work he's working hard on."

Rowoon appeared on "A Time Called You" Episode 8, where he met Yeon Jun at the tutoring school.

In the scene, Han Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Bin) traveled into Tae Ha's body; hence, the special connection between him and Yeon Jun.

Rowoon Returns With New K-drama

After his viral cameo in "A Time Called You" and the 2023 K-drama "The Matchmakers," Rowoon returns to the small screen with an interesting project. He will star in another historical K-drama, "Murky Water," with Shin Ye Eun.

Directed by Choo Chang Min of "Seven Years of Night," and penned by Cheon Sung Il of "All of Us Are Dead," "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," and "The Pirates" series, the story depicts the journey of a man who used to be a gangster at Han River's Mapo Port, known as the hub of logistics during the Joseon Dynasty. The interesting part is he unexpectedly becomes the legend of Joseon due to his physique.

Joining the duo is the former KNK member Park Seo Ham, who will portray one of the main characters. This will be his first K-drama since the 2022 BL series "Semantic Error."

As for Rowoon's new drama, officials have yet to confirm the target release date, but it will air on Disney+.
