Rowoon gets mixed reactions regarding his latest achievement after the former SF9 member won at the 2023 KBS Drama Awards.
Honoring the outstanding achievements in Korean dramas aired on the broadcast network throughout the year, the singer-actor is among the celebrities who took home a significant award.
However, K-Netz seemed unimpressed with Rowoon's new award.

While veteran actor Choi Soo Jong took home the highest recognition, which was the Daesang, or Grand Prize, for his performance in the historical drama "Korea-Khitan War," the series "Oasis" and "Korea-Khitan War" brought home the most number of awards.
Meanwhile, Rowoon bagged the Top Excellence Award along with Kim Dong Jun of "Korea-Khitan War," and as for the female counterpart, Uee, took home the Top Excellence Award for her appearance in "Live Your Own Life."
On the other hand, for the former SF9 member, it was for his remarkable performance in the historical rom-com K-drama "The Matchmakers," where he stars together with Cho Yi Hyun.
In addition, he was also the recipient of the Best Couple Award together with the lead stars of "Oasis," "The Real Has Come! " "Live Your Own Life" and "Korea-Khitan War."
Lastly, Rowoon went home with his third award at the 2023 KBS Drama Awards after he was announced the winner of the Popularity Award with Ahn Jae Hyun ("The Real Has Come!"), Lee Sang Yeob ("My Lovely Boxer"), and Ji Seung Hyun ("Korea-Khitan War.").

However, amid Rowoon's slew of recognition, K-Netz seemed disappointed with his newest achievement.
In online communities, the public expressed their opinions regarding the recently concluded annual ceremony.
In one post, netizens appear to question Rowoon for winning the Top Excellence Award.
Others also mentioned that Jang Dong Yoon was deserving of winning the said category and did not mention that his K-drama, "Oasis," had good viewership.
Some even said that the network was just hyping Rowoon and, at the same time, criticized his acting skills.
What's Next for Rowoon in 2024?
While Rowoon appeared in three K-dramas in 2023, the singer-actor is set to headline the upcoming series "The Murky Water."
Directed by Choo Chang Min of "Seven Years of Night" and penned by "All of Us Are Dead" and "The Pirates" 1 and 2 movie Chun Sung Il, Rowoon is in talks to play the lead role in the forthcoming historical drama.
Interestingly, he is set to play the role of a gangster.
