'Queen of Tears' Kim Ji Won Departs Korea for Singapore

On May 12, fans and members of the press gathered at the Incheon International Airport as Kim Ji Won was seen departing Korea. 

According to reports, the actress departed the country for Singapore as she is scheduled to attend the Bulgari Global New Perfume Launching Promotion.

On her way to the airport, the "Queen of Tears" star humbly greeted everyone and exhibited a warm smile. 

Apart from her appearance, she immediately created a buzz online after some of her snaps were uploaded. Netizens are praising the "Descendants of the Sun's" airport fashion look.

Kim Ji Won donned simple all-white outfits from pants to her top. She partnered them with light blue long sleeves, giving a chic aura to her overall look. Her style would never be complete without her brown bag, giving off an aesthetic and minimalist vibe.

As she rose again to stardom, thanks to her smashing hit series "Queen of Tears," Kim Ji Won continues to be booked and busy in the upcoming months. 

Aside from her brand event in Singapore, the actress is expected to go back and forth from Korea due to her increasing overseas schedules. With the ongoing global popularity of "Queen of Tears," Kim Ji Won also amassed a huge following, which led to her much-awaited fan gathering.

On May 3, HighZium Studio announced that the actress will hold her first-ever global fan meeting. Initially, it was only scheduled in Seoul. However, due to the demands of international fans, new cities are added to the upcoming tour. 

The "Fight for My Way" star will also visit Japan and meet her Japanese fans beginning in July. She is scheduled to have a meet-and-greet in Osaka on July 7, and in Tokyo on July 10.

Since "Queen of Tears" premiered, the 31-year-old Korean star has received a massive response from Japanese viewers, who were happy to see her play the iconic role of Hong Hae In along with another global superstar, Kim Soo Hyun, who acted as her husband in the series. 

Following the announcement, international fans are looking forward to seeing Kim Ji Won up close through her first Asian tour.
