‘The 8 Show’ Episodes 7-8: Did the Participants Find the Loophole?

Viewers witnessed the whirlwind of events in "The 8 Show" Episodes 7 and 8 as the top-floor individuals regained their power over the bottom-level participants.

Directed by Han Jae Rim of "The King" and "Emergency Declaration," the newest Netflix series is based on the popular webtoons "Pie Game" and "Money Game," which showcased a brutal survival challenge.

The 8-episode K-drama focuses on eight individuals dealing with financial struggles, and get invited to a TV show with a chance of winning millions of wons.

However, with the high-stakes prize, participants need to survive the challenges without leaving the building.

Their mission is to entertain the audience by keeping them hooked on the show. In return, they'll get more time on the program and more money for them before they leave.

"The 8 Show'" has an amazing lineup with Ryu Jun Yeol, Chun Woo Hee, Lee Joon Young, Park Hae Joon, Park Jeong Min, Bae Sung Woo, Lee Yeol Eum, and Moon Jung Hee joining as the main characters.

'The 8 Show' Episode 7: The Torture Escapade

Now that the people on the top floor were back, the 8th floor girl ditched her alliance with the 6th floor by tasing him, which caused his back to break.

In this episode, he also knew who was behind the attack, which was floor number 1. According to him, he didn't want to end the game just yet because he needed to earn billions.

Meanwhile, the 8th floor girl started a new challenge, which included CCTV in every room.

Here, she conducted torture, which would prevent the participants from sleeping and would keep them awake for a couple of days.

At this point, 4th and 5th floor women were the ones helping her. In the last scene, the first-floor guy revealed his secret to the 4th floor. He told him that switching rooms were applicable, but they needed 1 billion to purchase them.

With this, the group made an alliance with the 5th floor, helping the captives break free.

As the 4th floor girl knocked on the 8th floor, they decided to switch places.

'The 8 Show' Episode 8: The Exit

In hopes of getting more money out of the show, the 1st floor guy considered switching floors; however, he got devastated after the plan didn't work out, which meant that most of his money was gone.

This made him go ballistic and tie all the participants, making them the audience of his circus act.

Lo and behold, they earned a good amount of time, but the fun part stopped after the first-floor guy fell into an accident.

With no hospital and medical supplies around, it would be impossible to save him. This was where the guy on the guy on the 4th floor stepped in and broke all the CCTV.

Thankfully, the game masters decided to end the game, leaving them with billions and millions of dollars transferred to their bank accounts.

In the end, the 3rd floor decided to hold a funeral for the 1st floor, inviting all the participants through an electric post.

The 2nd, 4th, and 5th were the only ones who came, but the 6th floor guy sent flowers to mourn the passing of his teammate.

The group also found out that the 7th floor sent some of his money to the family on the 1st floor and was told that he was a colleague from abroad.

Interestingly, "The 8 Show" ended with a cliffhanger, leaving fans to speculate a possible sequel.
