‘The Atypical Family’ Episode 7: Jang Ki Yong Resets Relationship With Chun Woo Hee

After he found out her motive, Bok Gwi Ju (Jang Ki Yong) had a change of heart and reset his relationship with Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) in "The Atypical Family" Episode 7.

'The Atypical Family' Episode 7: Do Da Hae Disappoints Bok Gwi Ju

Bok Gwi Ju expressed his disappointment in Do Da Hae, who lied to him, thinking everything from the marriage certificate to the fire incident 13 years ago was a lie. 

He was devastated that despite regaining his power to go back to the past with Da Hae's help, Gwi Ju felt betrayed.

Do Da Hae, on the other hand, revealed that it was just about business to pay her debt to Baek Il Hong (Kim Keum Soon).

The two had a confrontation where they talked about the fire incident that Gwi Ju kept on returning to as he wanted to save his senior from death. He was still in shock and processing everything, on how of all people, Da Hae, who became the key to having his power back, would also be the reason for another chaos in his life.

Bok Gwi Ju Intrigued By Do Da Hae's Connection to the Fire Incident 

Elsewhere, Bok Ina (Park So Yi), who lost her glasses was approached by Da Hae. She said that she was the only person who was not afraid to look into Ina's eyes.

There, Ina read Da Hae's mind and was skeptical that Da Hae might be the reason why her dad, Gwi Ju, was having life changes. 

The next day, Gwi Ju picked up Ina and asked Do Da Hae for the last time if she was a survivor of a fire accident 13 years ago, if she was trapped on the fifth floor, where his senior was found.

After hearing her answer, Gwi Ju assumed that Do Da Hae might be the one that his senior saved from the incident. If he had not exchanged his duty schedule on that day, Gwi Ju might have been the one to save Da Hae. 

Gwi Ju learned all of these when he returned to the past. He said that he would erase those memories and would not think of those sad memories again. 

Bok Gwi Ju Resets Relationship With Do Da Hae

Meanwhile, Bok Man Heum (Go Doo Shim) slapped Da Hae and warned her to get away from her family. She then deliberately provoked Man Heum and warned that it was only she who could bring back her superpower, giving the old lady a shock. 

Gwi Ju continued to visit Da Hae in the past. He saw the roots of Da Hae's behavior during their supposed wedding ceremony. He resented her for being a fraud, but he had a change of heart after learning of Do Da Hae's miserable life with Baek Il Hong. 

He tried to change her fate but failed.

Gwi Ju followed Da Hae to the sauna and suggested resetting his relationship with her. He said that since Da Hae is the only key for him to regain his superpowers, might as well join forces with her in order to know his purpose and know how he will make use of his ability.
