Amid his K-drama "Lovely Runner," which he co-stars with Kim Hye Yoon, the actor announced his first-ever Asian fan meeting "Summer Letter," with Seoul as one of the four stops.

Byeon Woo Seok will meet and greet his fans in Seoul on July 6 and 7 at Jangchung Arena. The ticket reservations for the event opened through Interpark Ticket at 8 PM (KST) on May 27.

Due to his massive famle, the ticket selling process turned into fierce competition. Surprisingly, over 600,000 hopefuls logged in simultaneously as soon as the reservations opened.

In addition, social media was flooded with fans posting screenshots of their waiting numbers, showcasing the difficulty of securing a ticket.

The venue of Byeon Woo Seok's fan meeting, Jangchung Arena, has a seating capacity of around 4,500, but it can accommodate up to 5,500 people.

Since he will have his fan event for two days, he is expected to gather about 10,000 attendees. With more than half a million individuals attempting to secure tickets, it was a testament to the actor's phenomenal popularity.

Byeon Woo Seok, Other TV Personalities Spotted Queuing Online for Tickets

In separate news, the "Moonshine" actor was spotted queuing online and trying his luck to secure a ticket. TV personalities Kim Kyung Mi and Jeong Kyung Mi queued online but failed to have tickets. They expressed their frustrations over the difficulties in obtaining Byeon Woo Seok's fan meet tickets.

Furthermore, Byeon Woo Seok will also meet some of his international fans as other cities in Asia were confirmed to be included in his tour stops. The actor will visit Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, while other regions across Asia are yet to be announced.

It has been said that the ticket reservations for his Taiwan fan meeting also swiftly sold out.

Byeon Woo Seok is enjoying the peak of his success as he takes on the role of Ryu Sun Jae in the hit romance, time-slip series "Lovely Runner."
