Korea's newest sensation Byeon Woo Seok is dominating the charts!
According to a survey on the topicality of TV-OTT performers in the fourth week of May by Good Data Corporation, a K-content online competitiveness analysis agency, Byeon Woo Seok ranked first in the drama and non-drama categories.
It has been said that this is the first record of Good Data topicality survey results in the past 10 years.

The heartthrob, who topped the drama performer category with tvN's "Lovely Runner," garnered a topicality score of 29,672 points. He also scored 4,799 points for his appearance in "Yoo Quiz on the Block," and ranked first in the non-drama charts.

It all rose to the top at the same time. The total of 34,471 points of topicality recorded in dramas and non-dramas was found to account for 12.3% of the topicality scores of all drama and non-drama actors calculated in the past weeks.

In addition to Byeon Woo Seok's popularity, in every show that he appears in, "Lovely Runner" and "Yoo Quiz on the Block" remained popular. In fact, they maintained their spots at No. 1.
Good Data Corporation Acknowledges Byeon Woo Seok's Popularity After Setting New Record
Good Data Corporation Head, Won Soon Woo, said that there are 14 most-talked about performers produced by "Yoo Quiz on the Block" over the past year, but the show only ranked first twice in the trending list.

"The results of this new achievement were made possible thanks to Byeon Woo Seok's appearance in the show."
In addition, the survey for the 4th week of May, announced on Good Data Corporation's official platform FUNdex, was conducted on TV Dramas and OTT original series that are currently being aired or scheduled to be released from May 20- 26, 2024, and appearances of the stars in each program.
The data and surveys gathered by the organization proved that Byeon Woo Seok is currently the most buzzworthy star in Korea today.
Byeon Woo Seok is enjoying his heyday amid his successful portrayal of the iconic drama role Ryun Sun Jae, which became a syndrome in Korea. "Lovely Runner" and the actor's on-screen partner KIm Hye Yoon are also experiencing a sudden surge of popularity.
Furthermore, catch Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, and the rest of the drama's cast at the "Lovely Runner" finale episode scheduled to air this May 28 on tvN at 8:50 p.m.(KST).
