Taiwanese actor Fan Chih Wei, who was once the dream of the entire female audience as one of the most handsome actors and whose leading roles did not leave any viewer indifferent, has changed a lot by this time.
Photos from Today Online show the once top actor is now unrecognizable, as his background is failing, and his appearance and career have developed quite differently from what one would expect.
In 2003, Fan Chih Wei shot to fame after starring in the Taiwanese multi-part film "Crystal Boys," a drama about gay love. He has received various awards and has become the brightest star on Taiwanese television.
His career took off in the blink of an eye, and he quickly found himself in a host of television series and films.
However, in the wake of success and visibility, a series of scandals followed that ruined his previous way of life and growing career.

The first scandal broke out in 2010. On April Fools' Day, Chih Wei posted a shocking message along with a photo of himself and his ex-lover Cyndi Wang, a famous singer and actress.
Fan disclosed that he had been in two close romantic relationships prior to his relationship with Wang, who was 17 years old at that time.
The period of their relationship was from 2000 to 2006, and later he told in a later interview about his wrongdoing of his partner. His jealousy and bad attitude towards her are out of hand, and on one occasion, he snapped and raised his hand against her.
He was disappointed when he found out that she had lost her virginity to someone else when she told him she never had sex before them dating.
Dozens of her fans and journalists declared their boycott of Fan Chih Wei. In 2011, he was also accused of beating his later girlfriend, French national Anne Claire, who was the head of a French cosmetics brand in Taiwan.
At the moment, all his affairs are going through a difficult situation, and he has to go to China in search of decent work as an actor. There, he spent five years trying to make a media company.
This was shortly followed by his marketing bankruptcies, as evidenced by reports of poverty and unemployment.
During his life, he has also changed his appearance so much that he is no longer recognizable. He has put on so much weight that his face has become really unrecognizable.
Netizens who previously admired his photos now call him "uncle" and lambasted his attempted rebranding.
