Satton, a 30-year-old Japanese influencer, died from motorcycle accident injuries, his brother confirmed.
He wrote on Instagram that her little sister has "been in a coma" since the accident, which took place in Thailand.
In a post thanking her fans for their support during Satton's silence, he wrote:
"My sister got in a car accident last month and has remained unconscious for pretty close to a month. We were watching her every day and she died October 31."
"The words of encouragement and love have given our family incredible strength and solace," he added
Satton, 28, was a social media phenomenon on TikTok and Instagram. Her content had been based on the fact that she had lived in South Korea for eight years and developed a loyal following.
Before her death, her brother gave periodic updates on her status and said she would be in a coma for the foreseeable future — adding he would be stopping all online activity for the popular influencer to give 'her fans a break' from worrying.
Many fans and influencers have expressed their condolences for mourning the death of a beloved face on social media.
