Recently, on the show Salon Drip 2, South Korean actor Song Joong Ki revealed his wishes for his children.

The actor, who welcomed his first child with British actress Katy Louise Saunders in 2023, stated that he would consider himself "lucky" if his kids inherited their mother's impressive language skills.

As reported by Osen, Song made the comments in an episode that aired on Jan. 7 in which he talked about his love for acting and how he has been learning the craft via informal study groups. But the thing that most people tuned in for was his family life.

Song said his wife has lived in many places in her life and speaks perfectly English, Spanish, Italian, and French.

He went on to say that he admires her drive to learn languages and wishes their kids would be just like that, too.

He then added that he hoped his kid would possess "similar language skills as my wife" as this could improve their quality of life.

Song Joong Ki, who shot to fame with memorable dramas like "Descendants of the Sun," also mentioned that his baby takes after him with some physical features.

The actor continued: "My first born has my lips, so her eyes look like my wife." On the flip side, he said she got his nose, but the rest of his second child looked much more like Saunders.

His honesty about his family life has connected with fans who love his fatherly attitude.

Song has since opened the windows to his personal life following his marriage to Saunders, during which they welcomed two kids together, regularly sharing their joys of parenthood on social media.

"Salon Drip 2," on which Song made an appearance alongside fellow actor Lee Hee Joon, has made headlines for its candid discussions and as a venue for celebrities to open up about their parenting lives.
