South Korean actor Song Joong Ki and wife, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, welcomed their second child—a baby girl, the couple revealed on November 20.

Actor Song Joong Ki himself announced this good news to fans by posting a letter on his fan cafe.

He thanked God and said his wife and new baby girl were both doing well and resting comfortably.

"I'm so thankful to share that we were blessed with one more baby angel," the 38-year-old actor wrote. "Our beautiful princess arrived safely, and my wife and baby are all well and resting."

The pair revealed they were having a second child in July — only a year after giving birth to their first child, a son. Here, the family has reached another milestone four months later with the announcement of their daughter.

Song Joong Ki also posted a picture of his newborn baby's hand in the same post as the earlier post of his newborn son.

Following the announcement, the actor's fans have taken to social media to congratulate him and wish him well.

Song Joong Ki and Saunders met through mutual friends in 2023. The duo shifted from friends to lovers and went Instagram official in December 2022. On January 30, 2023, they married in a private ceremony.

Best known for his turn in the hit melodrama Descendants of the Sun, the actor recently made his big-screen return with My Name is Loh Kiwan and Bogota: The City of Lost. Currently, he is ready to return to television through the healing romance drama "MY YOUTH," which will be airing in 2023.

However, the couple has been mostly seen out and about as a family on outings, although Song Joong Ki requested that the paparazzi give them some privacy.
