Netizens were surprised to see the 52-year-old actor with wrinkles and loose neck skin when promotional materials and clips from the series often depict him with an impeccably flawless appearance.

Lee's features were preserved, and there were no touch-ups in the interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The disparity between his on-screen character and his off-screen look has sparked a flood of responses online, even though he doesn't seem particularly elderly for his age.

This led to netizens posting comments on the online community forum Instiz, like "Oh my gosh, just look at his neck ...." and "Time really is scary."

Some even asked if it was makeup that turned her look, similar to the comments: "Is that not makeup?" and "Huh? No way..."

Following the release of candid footage, the show sparked larger conversations about public perceptions of aging and how the entertainment industry can manipulate age to its benefit through scene editing.
