Lee Byung Joon misunderstood Lee Yun Ji's truth again.
On the episode of KBS 2 "King's Family" on December 29th, Choi De Se (played by Lee Byung Jun) was upset at his son and his daughter-in-law that came back from their honeymoon. Choi De Se was not happy with his daughter-in-law Wang Kwang Back (played by Lee Yoon Ji) but had decided he would live with it but was infuriated with Wang Kwang Back at the end of the episode.
On this episode, Choi De Se called the couple who were coming back from the honeymoon and told them to come back directly. However, the tradition is to stop by the bride's parents' home after a honeymoon so Choi Sang Nam dragged Wang Kwang Back to her house.
Because of his, Choi De Se's anger was at an all time high. He thought he was being ignored by his son and his pride was hurt. As soon as his son came home, he yelled at them. A t that time, Oh Man Jung (played by Lee Sang Wook) was cunning and said mean things, making the situation tougher.
Later, Wang Kwang Back realized that the letter she had given him wasn't the little she had written from her heart but a sample letter and didn't know what to do. Choi De Se said, "That's how inconsiderate you are. Even if it's a mistake, I don't care. I don't need a copied message" and in front of him, Wang Kwang Back just cried.
At the words, "Don't make me regret allowing you to get into this marriage, " Choi Sang Nam tried to stop her father but this only brought further anger. Wang Kwang Back went to the room and followed Choi De Se trying to bow and keeping tradition but this only led to cold reactions.
Meanwhile, on this day, Park Sal Lah (played by Lee Bo Hee) found out about her daughter (played by Huh Young Dahl)'s pregnancy and was shocked.
