Friends of the late actress Kim Sae Ron are expressing frustration following a press conference held by actor Kim Soo Hyun, where he addressed allegations regarding their past relationship.

In the aftermath, at least eight acquaintances of Kim Sae Ron have come forward to claim they were aware of the relationship when she was a minor.

During an interview with TV Chosun on April 1, attorney Bu Ji Seok, who represents Kim Sae Ron's bereaved family, expressed disappointment over Kim Soo Hyun's remarks.

"We expected a sincere apology from Kim Soo Hyun, but there was no apology to the bereaved family," Bu said. "Eight people knew the deceased dated Kim Soo Hyun since she was a minor."

The friends of Kim Sae Ron are reportedly drafting a statement urging Kim Soo Hyun to "properly admit to the relationship."

They expressed their frustrations after watching his recent press conference.

"The bereaved family felt that it would have been better if he had just admitted it," Bu continued.

"It would've been better if he just admitted that he had feelings for her since she was a minor but started to date after she became an adult.

We don't understand why he is denying everything."

Kim Soo Hyun held the press conference on March 31 to address the controversy surrounding his relationship with Kim Sae Ron.

The statements from her friends and family have ignited heated discussions among fans and the public.
