Emma Thompson Golden Globe Moments: Takes Off Christian Louboutin-Red Soled Heels With Martini Hand; Vacations In Disneyland With Daughter Gaia

Jacqueline Bisset was not the only one who looked a little awkward on the Golden Globe stage. Emma Thompson presented an award holding her shoes in one hand and a martini in the other.

It was Emma's fashion statement against heels. "I just want you to know, this red, it's my blood," she noted while she was presenting for Best Screenplay as she was holding her Christian Louboutin red-soled heels.

The Huffington Post reported that this is not the first time Emma has taken a jab at her heels. Last week, Emma received her Best Actress award at the National board of Review awards gala without her shoes.

Emma said, "I've taken my heels off as a feminist statement really, because why do we wear them? They're so painful. And pointless, really."

She added, "You know, I really would like to urge everyone to stop it. Just stop it. Don't wear them anymore. You just can't walk in them, and I'm so comfortable now."

Perhaps, that was Emma's just an impersonation of how she would look drunk. She's turned to her family affairs, now that the Globes are over.

Thompson took her 14 year old, Gaia to the Anaheim Disneyland, where they were smiling in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The two looked a lot more relaxed at Disneyland with Emma in a pair of overalls and Gaia in a fedora hat along with a cream and -blue dress a bug hug.

A getaway to Disneyland made both Emma and Gaia happier, putting a smile on their face. By the way, Gaia looks just like her mother.

Some critics saw Emma's act as an alcoholic, they may have felt she was acting out of synch with her. But some people know that Emma was expressing herself naturally and being free spirited at an event that allows you to be just about anything you want to be.
