"Dark Horse" singer Katy Perry has recently revealed on Twitter how scared she is of the abundant shootings that have taken place.
On Monday a student was critically wounded due to a shooting that occurred at Widener University in Pennsylvania. Another student was shot and killed at Purdue University on Tuesday. Then on Friday at South Carolina State University a scholar was killed by a gunshot. Finally, on Saturday three people where killed due to a shooting at a mall in Columbia, Maryland.
This has triggered Perry to speak out.
"Is anyone else really sad about the constant stream of shootings and how normal it's becoming to see these headlines on a weekly basis?" Perry asked via Twitter Saturday afternoon.
The singer also included that she can understand why people are afraid to leave their house.
Scared to go to school? Scared to go to the mall? Scared to go to the movies? Me too. When will there be ACTUAL change? How many more?!

Perry added that the shootings are pretty humiliating and a change is necessary.
You and I both know this is getting embarrassing...My heart goes out to ALL the victims & their families this week. I pray for change. — Katy Perry (@katyperry) January 25, 2014
