For those who might not know yet, Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog has a new look.

That's right - Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends apparently had a makeover. The new designs signify the celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog's existence for more than 20 years. So it's fitting for Sonic to change his look once in a while right? Well not quite; fans were horrified and not pleased about how Sonic and the others looked. This is enough to spark a fire of negative reactions as several tweets are made and pictures posted on the internet.

The new designs for the characters are a part of both a new animated TV show and video game called Sonic Boom. A trailer of both the TV and video game was released as you can see below.
