It looks like Phil Coulson won't be the Vision but according to recent news, Paul Bettany, the voice of JARVIS, has been cast to play the Vision!
The actor, who has been lending his voice to JARVIS, the computer program and Cyber butler created by Tony Stark in Marvel's "Iron Man" movies, has now been cast as iconic superhero and Avenger, the Vision in "The Avengers: The Age of Ultron" according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the comics, Ultron was the one who created "Vision" to fight the Avengers but "Vision" turned on him and fought alongside the Avengers to fight Ultron.
Fans have speculated how the story will play out and from what the fans said, it may be pretty accurate to what will happen on the big screen come "The Avengers: The Age of Ultron".
We all know that during Comic Con, it was revealed the Tony Stark AKA Iron Man will be the one who willl create Ultron. Ultimately, Ultron turns on Tony Stark and steals the AI code of JARVIS and thus turning JARVIS into a villain like Ultron is. JARVIS will then have a physical body and he will be called "The Vision".
Of course "The Vision" will turn his back on Ultron (Tony Stark convinces Vision to switch sides aka Tony Stark to the rescue) and he becomes a hero.
With that said this is a good follow up to the ending of "Iron Man 3" in which Tony Stark learns to trust in himself and not on the "Iron Man" suit.
"The Avengers: The Age of Ultron" is directed by Joss Whedon. Elizabeth Olsen will appear as the "Scarlet Witch" while "Kick-Ass" star Aaron Taylor-Johnson will appear as "Quicksilver" and James Spader is the titular villain, "Ultron".
