When the "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" teaser went online, the internet exploded with various rumors and details about the new "Transformers" movie. One of the biggest questions that was asked after the "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" teaser was released was "Who is gonna be the bad guy?"

According to the released "alternate mode" photos at comic con, fans noticed that there was a picture of Optimus Prime's alternate mode but it had a different color scheme, which coincidentally resembles the color scheme of Nemesis Prime. This led to speculations that Nemesis Prime will be the villain of "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction".

According to reports and rumors, the story line of the "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" is that the movie will follow the events of "Transformers 3". After the full-on invasion of the Decepticons, the government will study how to use and make "Transformers" tech so that humans can fight back should another alien invasion arise. Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci will be the human villains in the movie. The government's research would then give rise to the Optimus Prime clone, Nemesis Prime. Aside from the "man-made" villain there will be a rumored threat from space (as seen briefly in the trailer) and this threat is rumored to be Unicron.

The confirmed "Transformers" who will appear in the movie are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hound, Grimlock (the dinosaur Optimus Prime is riding), Lockdown, Stinger, Drift and Cyclonus.

The protagonists for "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" has been changed significantly as the story will not focus on Sam Witwicky but will focus on Mark Wahlberg's character, Cade Yeager. Nicola Peltz will play as the daughter of Mark Wahlberg, Tessa Yeager while Jack Reynor will be her boyfriend, Shane Dyson.

"Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film is set for release on July 27, 2014.
