Looks like the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy aren't just going to show up in cinemas, but also in a toy store.
Hasbro reveals their newest toy line: "Guardians of the Galaxy" Marvel Legends Toys, based on Marvel's newest superhero hit via 2014 special edition Toy Fair poster.
For those who don't know who they are, The Guardians of the Galaxy comic is about a rag tag group of individuals who band together to defend the whole galaxy against any intergalactic threat. They are led by Peter Quill also called Starlord (Chris Pratt, The LEGO Movie) along green skinned female alien Gamora (Zoe Saldana), the hulking barbarian Drax the Destroyer ( WWE superstar Batista), the wise-cracking, gun-slinging raccoon alien Rocket Raccoon ( Bradley Cooper, American Hustle) and the tree like alien named Groot ( Vin Diesel, The Fast and Furious franchise).
The line-up of the Guardians of The Galaxy toys is similar to the first official photo of the group in the film standing in some sort of outer-space police line-up.
The poster will be handed out to invited guests during the company's presentation at the American International Toy Fair this weekend in New York City. Even though the general public can't get their hands on one, they're giving away three of them!
The package includes 6 figures total and likenesses for each actor is pretty spot-on and each figure will be sold individually, with the exception of Groot, who is a build-a-figure packed in pieces along with his crewmates.
Guardians of The Galaxy is set to open in theaters on August 1, with each of these figures arriving in toy stores for roughly $20 a pop in July.
