If you thought the Britney Spears-Madonna kiss from the past was hot and controversial, then wait till you hear about what Miley Cyrus did in the Staples Center in L.A.: she locked lips with Katy Perry. Now that's hot and controversial!

Miley Cyrus kissed Katy Perry during her "Bangerz" concert at the Staples Center in L.A. and she got everyone shocked and off their seats. "I kissed a girl and I really liked it a lot," Miley Cyrus said, referencing one of Katy Perry's song, the "Wrecking Ball" star was in the middle of performing her latest song "Adore You" when she spotted Katy Perry in the front row and then the deed has been done. Katy isn't the only star in attendance as the Kardashians, Hilary Duff and Christina Aguilera were also in the audience showing their support for Miley.

Parents are complaining about her high riding, marijuana leaf adorned leotard, charities are getting sweaty about her writhing around on a car and fans seem a bit confused about the star's sliding tongue.

In her defence, Miley said: "You can't say I didn't warn you. sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour," she wrote to her 17 million Twitter followers.

"Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the "fries with that".

According to music blog MusicFix, Cyrus's management has been subject to a volley of complaints since she kicked off her tour in Vancouver last Friday.

"Miley's management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada with calls for the entire tour to be axed," a source told the website.

"Her team, including management, record label execs and the entire tour staff including the director, costume department and choreographers - have been called for an emergency meeting as arenas across the US threaten to pull out of the show."

One complaint is said to have been made by the mother of a nine-year-old girl. She is reported to have contacted the Wrecking Ball singer's record company Interscope saying she would not subject her child to a 'porn show.'

Well who can argue with that? But stars Hilary Duff, Christina Aguilera and the Kardashian's didn't think of the show that way.

Christina Aguilera snapped a photo on her Twitter page of Miley wearing a skimpy costume that included chaps, which were familiar to Aguilera as it's reminiscent of the chaps she wore in her music video 'Dirty.' The caption reads, "Cheers from one dirty girl to the next @MileyCyrus....wear em'loaud & proud, girl-yeas!!"

Hilary Duff showed her support through Instagram as she took a photo with her hair stylist Marcus Francis, imitating Miley's tongue antics as they headed to the concert.

Dressed in sexy ripped jeans and Timberlands, Khloé Kardashian led her leather-clad sister Kendall Jenner into the venue, where Kourtney Kardashian was also partying with a few of her other friends.

This has been a wild night for both Miley and Katy. What could be Miley's next crazy stunt? We'll certainly find out more as the Bangerz tour continues.
