Manny Pacquiao is training real hard to get a win at "Pacquiao Vs Bradley 2" and his long-time coach, Freddie Roach is there to help him train for the bout. But there is something new that Roach will try to motivate "Pacman" into unleashing his killer-instinct and knock-out Timothy Bradley.
Freddie Roach told "The Sweet Science" that he was frank with Manny Pacquiao when he said to him "It's been four years since he had a knockout, and I told Manny, 'That's why your paydays are getting are lower and the pay-per-view audiences (have dropped off some). That's what people really wanna see, they wanna see knockouts."
According to Freddie Roach, it is clear that Manny Pacquiao's killer-instinct is lower than when he was still known as the "mexi-cutioner" and even Timothy Bradley even told Pacquiao in person that Pacquiao lost his killer-instinct.
Because of this Freddie Roach decided to use an unconventional training tool to help guide "Pacman" into reclaiming his lost killer-instinct, they will use bible verses to motivate Pacquiao into knocking out Bradley.
"I have found in the Bible, there's some killer instinct in the Bible, Manny's very into the Bible, and I will show him those verses. You gotta do what you gotta do. I don't know the Bible well, but I've had people research it for me. There's a lot of war, a lot of violence, a lot of killer instinct in there."
Aside from Freddie Roach's unusual training method another "Pacquiao Vs Bradley 2" information came to light recently and it seems that Ashanti, upon Manny Pacquiao's request, will sing the National Anthem of the United States of America before the fight begins!
When asked by reporters on how Pacquiao requested her to sing the national anthem, this is what she said:
"I'm such a huge fan of Manny Pacquiao! I have family in the boxing business -- Howard Davis, Jr. and Dyah Davis," said Ashanti. "When I found out we were sitting next to each other courtside at the Knicks game, I said to my Dad, 'We should take a picture!' I told Manny I was a big fan and was so excited when he asked me to sing the National Anthem at his upcoming fight and I can't wait. I actually love boxing! Manny's such a champion and I can't wait to cheer him on!"
When reporters asked Pacquiao on his side of the story, he told them: "Ashanti and I first met on February 5 in New York when we found ourselves sitting next to each other courtside at a Knicks game," said Pacquiao. "I told her I was a big fan and asked her if she would sing the U.S. National Anthem at my fight against Timothy Bradley. She quickly checked her schedule and then said she could and she would. The Knicks may have lost that night but I felt like the biggest winner in the world when I walked out of Madison Square Garden."
