Khloe Kardashian, 29, has purchased Justin Bieber's former Calabasas mansion in the gated community of The Oaks, according to US Weekly. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star will now be living just a short distance from her mother's home as well as being neighbors with sister Kourtney Kardashian.
Kourtney Kardashian recently purchased her Calabasas home from former Bieber neighbor, ex-NFL player Keyshawn Johnson. The news breaks a little more than a month after the sale of Khloe's home in Tarzana, CA to the Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco. Kardashian and estranged husband Lamar Odom listed their home for $5.499 million back in January, after she filed for divorce.
The former home of Justin Bieber was purchased back in 2012 but the international singer quietly put it on the market after run-ins with his neighbors, including the famous egging incident. Bieber, 19, was suspected of throwing more than a dozen raw eggs at his estranged neighbor's house on Jan. 9, 2014 to cause an estimated $20,000 in damages according to the NY Daily News. L.A. County sheriff's detectives directed a search of Bieber's home on January 15, 2014 which led to the arrest of his friend, Xavier Dominique Smith, 20, known as Lil Za, as authorities found drugs "in plain view."
"The fact that a talented international musician like Mr. Bieber chooses to live in Calabasas is certainly a feather in our cap and a tribute to our safe and beautiful community," Calabasas Mayor Fred Gaines, told the L.A. Times in January. "[But] the peace and privacy of our residents is the city's top priority. We have unfortunately had a number of breaches of the peace related to Mr. Bieber and his residence, and the sheriff has acted appropriately in addressing those incidents."
