It is just a few months away before the mutant superhero film franchise hits the theaters, but fans are still eager to find out more X-Men Days of Future Past spoilers. When people think of this movie, they often associate it with Hugh Jackman who starred as Wolverine. But the real person who brought this film into life is Bryan Singer.

Before superhero movies became huge, the director created a budget movie that centered on interesting mutant characters 14 years ago. He was able to capture the comic book story successfully on the big screen that's why he was asked by the producers to do a sequel on the film three years later.

However, Singer left the other film installments on the hands of other directors. After 11 years, "The Usual Suspect" director finally returns for the much-awaited sequel. In an interview with Collider, Singer revealed more X-Men Days of Future Past spoilers. Here are excerpts from the Q & A:

Frosty: One of the things that a lot of people are excited about is we're finally going to get to see Sentinels doing battle with the X-Men. So what can you tease people about the Sentinels in the movie?

Singer: Well we tried to make the ones from 1973, the Sentinels of the past, a little fun and stylish but also a little retro, and the key is they're not made of metal. That's very important to our story because we've got a very powerful mutant.

Frosty: I'm interested in how you're approaching the continuity on this movie. Are you taking the time travel element?

Singer: What's weird is there will be people who it will freak them out a little when you go back in time and start altering things, but what's most interesting about this story is that yes it potentially alters thing but it also brings the characters closer to who they are destined to be. This is a rare film where past and future are co-existing so I had to create a set of rules where that made sense to me.

Frosty: With each new movie it seems like you have to up the action, to improve upon the last one, but has your approach to action changed over the last 13 years?

Singer: With X1 I could only do so much, like I didn't have the money, time, or ability to do a Nightcrawler sequence, but on X2 I did. Well here now I wouldn't have wanted Sentinel robots back then it would have been a nightmare, but now I feel comfortable having that kind of stuff to me.

If those X-Men Days of Future Past spoilers got you all excited, then we will keep you posted with new updates as the movie's release date gets nearer.
