Finally! The Rocksteady-made-game "Batman: Arkham Knight" gets an official release date as confirmed by its product page on Steam!
According to the product page of the game, the "Batman: Arkham Knight" release date is on October 15, 2014.
As the October 15, 2014 release date was announced, a bunch of other details for "Batman: Arkham Knight" was released. The two biggest reveals are the new takedown skill and that Joker won't be returning at all in "Batman: Arkham Knight".
The official Facebook page of "Batman: Arkham Knight" confirmed that a new takedown skill will be in the game that lets Batman eliminate 3-4 enemies in a chained attack. This is a huge difference as previous "Arkham" games only let the player takedown one enemy during the "free-flow" combat. The reason for this is that the number of enemies in "Batman: Arkham Knight" has been increased so much that it is going to be regular for Batman to fight 50 or so enemies swarming at him at the same time as confirmed by Rocksteady in their interview with Game Informer.
The other reveal is Joker not coming back in the game at all while Kevin Conroy will be back as the voice of Batman, no "Black Mask is Joker all along" type of stuff here as Rocksteady emphasizes that Joker won't be in the game as he has been confirmed dead by the end of Arkham City and he is not the the new character "Arkham Knight". Although Rocksteady makes it a point that the story is still almost Joker centric as the plot is basically "What would happen if Joker is gone" type of stuff.
By the way this is the "Arkham Knight" Character
"Batman: Arkham Knight" is for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and it will be released on October 15, 2014
