Ubisoft finally gave us a new release date for Watch Dogs, and with it a new trailer and gameplay footage. However that teaser caused a lot of controversy around the internet as people discussed whether how Watch Dogs looks now is a downgrade from how it looked when it was announced at E3 2012.
Jason Knothe made a video that compares footage from the last two E3s and this new footage all of which is real-time which seemingly "confirms" the downgraded visuals however take note that the footage shows comparisons of day-to-night shots and that the earlier build was on PC compared to the latest trailer that was rendered via PS4.
However Ubisoft PR & Event Manager, Tessa Vilyn via Twitter has just issued a clarification on entire Watch Dogs Graphics/Visuals Downgraded Controversy. Claiming that there are no graphical downgrades based on her playing the actual game instead of basing it on the trailer.
@Markusstoltz @YaraskyGaming it is impossible, of couse it is not downgraded at all. :)
