There are some things that shouldn't be mixed when it comes to food. It can either taste good for the taste buds or bad for our health.
Well Japan has certainly lived up to the reputation of making weird food as Japanese ice cream brand Gari-Gari Kun has revealed its new product, Spaghetti Popsicle, on March 24. Yes, you read it right: Spaghetti Popsicle.
Spaghetti flavored popsicles, what were they thinking?!
Apparently Gari-Gari Kun's spaghetti popsicle is the newest addition to their weird flavored products which includes the Rice cake stuffed with bean paste, Corn Porridge, and even an Ultraman flavored popsicle (strawberry with milk and jelly).
The spaghetti popsicle contains bits of "tomato jelly" in a "Neapolitan" flavored ice cream. The flavor is even surprising for Japan, with some people online actually doubting that this is a real product. It certainly seems to be, and here are two more looks at the ice cream's ad-if anything, to let this all sink in.
Interesting to point out that back in late February, one Japanese store already had an in-store sign up for the spaghetti frozen treats, stating that the limited edition popsicle goes on sale March 24.
Twitter user Kakkii apparently got his hands on the popscile early and tweeted, "Fucking disgusting. Blerrrrgh. lol." When asked if he bought the treat, he replied, "It was a present. Ha, no way I'd buy this."
Well folks if you're planning on getting one, just make sure your taste buds can handle it.
