Watch Dogs PC Version Visuals Blows Away E3 Build, PS4, And Xbox One Graphics As Ubisoft Releases Minimum System Requirements!

Great news for PC gamers as Ubisoft revealed that the PC version of Watch Dogs will be graphically superior to the much lauded "E3 build" of Watch Dogs and if the comparison videos and photos of the "E3 build" and the PS4 versions are to be believed, then the PC version will be leagues better than the next-gen console versions as well.

The Creative Director for Watch Dogs, Jonathan Morin has been discussing lately the differences between the PC and the next-gen version of Watch Dogs on Twitter. According to Jonathan, the PC version will feature higher resolution effects (lighting effects, rain simulation, depth of field, particles system) than its next-gen console counterpart.

In addition, Jonathan Morin confirmed that the stunning PC version will be better than the "E3 2012 build"

Jonathan Morin admitted that the latest Story trailer was never meant to be a visual showcase and that the PC version will always look better than the console version, basing from the E3 build of the PC and PS4 versions.


This further proves that the PC version will be visually better than the console versions. So, why wasn't the latest trailer of Watch Dogs showcased on the PC? That mystery remains unanswered. Perhaps Ubisoft wanted to boost the next-gen console version? For what is worth, Morin promised that more PC footage will be revealed prior to the game's release. Watch Dogs is currently planned for a May 27, 2014 release on PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 while the Wii-U version has no set release date.
