Have you ever imagined the day that the whole Star Wars franchise was adapted into one William Shakespeare plays? Fortunately it was done before and it now has a sequel.
The second installment of the William Shakespeare Star Wars book "William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back" written by author Ian Doescher, is set to be release next week.
The first book Ian Doescher made was released last year. The book reiterates the Star Wars film saga as a 16th century darma and the author said he was inspired in making the book after reading "Pride and Prejudice and Zombie."
Yahoo Movies released a video trailer of William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back. The trailer showcases Doescher writing his literary adaptation of the "The Empire Strikes Back" and features typical Eliazabethan wordplay, creative character homages, etc.
It also featured some of the popular Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Boba Fett as they re-enact some of the most memorable scenes in Star Wars particularly Lukes confrontation with Darth Vader in the infamous "I am your Father" scene.
Well with the hype of Episode VII on the works this book would surely keep Star Wars fans busy for a while and what would Lucasfilm's think of Doescher's new book when it becomes available Tuesday March 18 next week.
