Sad news for Kick-Ass fans as comic book writer and creator of Kick-Ass Mark Millar, reveals that Kick-Ass 3 movie will be the final installment of his revered comic book series.

According to Screenrant.com, Millar said that a third film is on the works and he will end it in a way he conceptualized the whole series, by being realistic and how dangerous it is to become a superhero in real life.

"'Kick-Ass 3′ is going to be the last one, though. I told Universal this and they asked me, 'What does that mean?' I said, 'It means that this is where it all ends.' They said, 'Do they all die at the end?' I said, 'Maybe' - because this is a realistic superhero story. And if someone doesn't have a bullet proof vest like Superman and doesn't have Batman's millions then eventually he is going to turn around the wrong corner and get his head kicked in or get shot in the face. So 'Kick-Ass' needs to reflect that. There has to be something dramatic at the end, he cannot do this for the rest of his life."

It is a no-brainer that Kick-Ass 2 has a huge fan base, as it is considered as one of the most unique superhero stories out there. It is a story most comic book fans can relate to and at some point, might have even imagined themselves doing the same thing. However, Millar would like to remain true to his advocacy.

"It's the conclusion of the Dave Lizewski story. I'm almost done, I've nearly finished the book," said Millar, who took a producer's role on both 2010's Kick-Ass and current sequel Kick-Ass 2. "It's the end. It's weird. My agent keeps saying to me, 'We're making a lot of money here. Let's do Kick-Ass 4 and 5.' But I said, 'No, I've got to stay true to my principles'."

As per the fate of titular character, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), it would not be a surprise if he is the major character that might end up dying. Considering the fact how much attention he got from hooligans all over his city. Hitgirl (Chloe Moretz), is a totally different story, but as Millar has said, nobody is safe and immortal in the Kick-Ass world.
