Get hyped horror movie fans as there is a new "Grudge" movie this 2014 as the first teaser trailer for "Ju-On: Beginning of the End" gets released!
The first teaser trailer for the "Ju-on: Owari no Hajimari" or "Ju-On: Beginning of the End" horror film went online and it is amazing:
The trailer notes that a 2014 Japanese poll of "Scariest Horror Movie Series" named the top 5: 5) Paranormal Activity, 4) One Missed Call, 3) Saw, 2) Ring, and 1) Ju-on.
The story of "Ju-On: Beginning of the End" will be:
"Nozomi Sasaki (Tenshi no Koi, Dohyo Girl) is as a schoolteacher named Yui who goes to investigate her student's home after he is absent. The student, Toshio Saeki (Kai Kobayashi), lives in a house hiding a horrific secret. Yui must relive the horrors that took place there 10 years ago and find the truth hiding in the home."
The first Juon: The Grudge film opened in theaters in Japan in 2003 and was adapted into a Hollywood live-action film starring Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2004. The horror film franchise received two more Hollywood adaptations and multiple sequels in Japan, with the most recent released in 2009. Oz Productions, the first film's Japanese production company led by prominent horror film producer Takashige Ichise, filed for bankruptcy in 2012 which led to speculations that "Ju-On: Beginning of the End" will mark the start of the end of franchise.
"Ju-On: Beginning of the End" will open in Japanese theaters on June 28, 2014.
