Angelina Jolie is both ravishing and pure evil in the newest "Maleficient" trailer. The 38 year old actress is fierce with black horns and very chiseled, high cheekbones in the film. A photo of Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, was released as part of the marketing efforts by Disney . Check out the photo of mother and daughter in "Maleficent" on the Huffington Post. Jolie's and Brad Pitt's daughter plays Princess Aurora as a child in "Maleficent." According to the Huffington Post, Vivienne was cast because she was the only child who could stand seeing Jolie in her full Maleficent getup.
Jolie also did an extensive interview with EW's Anthony Breznican in lieu of "Maleficient's" impending release. In it, she talks about Vivienne's cameo. Jolie comments, "We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That's not our goal for Brad and me at all. I think we would both prefer that they didn't become actors. But [Vivienne] was 4 at the time and other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] really wouldn't come near me. Big kids thought I was cool! But little kids really didn't like me. So, in order to have a child that wants to play with [Maleficent] but I don't want to play with her -- to have that scene, it had to be a child that really liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."

As a young woman, Maleficent was beautiful and pure-hearted, living an idyllic life in a peaceable forest kingdom. When an invading army threatens the harmony of the land, Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector. However, she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal, which hardens her pure heart. A vengeful Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king's successor and places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley,and Juno Temple. "Maleficent" arrives in theaters until May 30.
