Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie: One of the most hyped film in 2015 gets another thumbs down as Tomb Raider Star Angelina Jolie recently revealed that she had rejected the offer of directing the film-adaptation of EL James' hit novel.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jolie finally addressed the rumors and got confused in the process.

"I came very clear out of the gate: after Blood and Honey, if I ever directed again, it would have to be a certain kind of film".

"You know, I'm looking forward to seeing what Sam [Taylor-Johnson] does with Fifty Shades and she's amazing."

She continued: "I - I think they're just ... it's funny, I think with directing, you just think: I'm better at telling some stories than others but um, who knows?"

Just a few weeks ago, up and coming star Shailene Woodley (The Spectacular Now, The Descendants) also admitted that she turned down the role of Anastasia Steele, clarifying to the Daily Beast: "It actually is true. I didn't want to audition for it."

While the film was still on its casting process, Emma Watson (Harry Potter, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) was forced to deny rumours she'd take on the role of Ana (In her Twitter account, she tweeted: "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life).

As per the role of the main character, Christian Grey, it originally belonged to Charlie Hunnam, but just few weeks after the casting was announced, he opted out. Officially it was ruled out as scheduling conflicts but rumors began to spread that the actor departed due to the massive criticism from Fifty Shades devotees over his casting (Supporting cast member Rita Ora has faced a similiar reaction from fans).

As of the moment, the celebrities who are set to appear in the film are Dakota Johnson as Anastasia "Ana" Steele, Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, Eloise Mumford as Katherine "Kate" Kavanagh, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Victor Rasuk as José Rodriguez, Max Martini as Jason Taylor, Dylan Neal as Bob Adams, Callum Keith Rennie as Ray Steele, Jennifer Ehle as Carla Wilks, and Marcia Gay Harden as Grace Trevelyan Grey.

The film was originally set for release on August 1, 2014, but was moved to February 14, 2015.
