Pixar isn't the only one with crazy theories. Disney has one too, and this theory involves three Disney movies: Frozen, Tangled, and Little Mermaid. A post from Tumblr user name ercmreh made a comparison of several pictures from the three films and created a theory that these movies are in fact in the same universe. Here is the photo from her Tumblr account.

The first pictures shown is already an easter egg in Frozen as you can see Rapunzel and Flynn going to Elsa's coronation. The reason Fynn and Rapunzel are present in the theory is that the setting for Tangled is set in Germany (just like in the original book), while Frozen takes place in Norway based on architectural and cultural nods.

So how does Little Mermaid fit in all of this? Well the theory goes that when both Elsa and Anna's parents went to a trip by sea which lead to their deaths, were on their way to Rapunzel's return celebration and as the goes by the idea that The Little Mermaid takes place near Denmark since the original was Danish, it is possible that their boat sinks to an area where Area was near. It might have been the same ship that Ariel explored during the movie as it shown in the tumblr photo.

So everyone does this theory make sense or not? We'll let people decide on that part but it is likely that this one is a coincidence. Certainly Disney will make another one to keep up wit Pixar and hoping this one is better than the other.
