It was recently announced that the "Wolverine" movie will get a sequel and it will be released on March 2017. Apparently the plot will follow "X-Men Apocalypse" which reveals a simple spoiler about "X-Men Apocalypse" which in turn spoils "X-Men Days of future past".
What was the plot line that was spoiled?
Simple, Wolverine will be safe and sound during the entire run of "X-Men Days of Future Past" and "X-Men Apocalypse".
Everyone knows that Wolverine has a healing factor that conveniently serves as plot armor for him but both the storylines of "X-Men Days of Future Past" and "X-Men Apocalypse" deals with wiping out the mutant race, so it should follow that Wolverine's plot armor would probably be negated but that is not the case at all.
While little is known about the plot of the Wolverine sequel, it seems that they will feature Wolverine and Yukio together in an adventure that spans the gap between "The Wolverine" movie and the epilogue where he meets Xavier and Magneto to the end of "X-Men Apocalypse"
"I honestly have sketches and ideas, but there are many alternatives and that certainly is indeed a window that exists." Said James Mangold about the time gap between the movies as a starting point for "Wolverine 2".
And let's not forget about the "mystery" movie Fox is doing after "Wolverine 2" which is probably going to be the "X-Men and Fantastic Four" crossover movie. (click here to read our article about it)
