The Taiwanese drama "Fated To Love You" is about to be remade into an MBC k-drama of the same name. And the two stars lined up to star in this drama are Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk.

Jang Nara was last seen as the conscientious teacher in "School 2013." Jang Hyuk, who appeared in the dramas "The Slave Hunters" and "Deep-Rooted Tree," can be seen in the film "The Thorn," which premieres next month.

The two have not acted together in 12 years since they co-starred in the drama "Successful Story of a Bright Girl." But we know they have chemistry. That drama was a big hit with ratings of 42 percent.

Nothing has been confirmed yet on either side. Both actors are still reviewing the script. But the new drama sounds like a fun project for a reunion.

The story of the 2008 Taiwanese drama starts with a temporary office worker at a law firm. She plans to take her boyfriend on a romantic cruise because she would like to take their relationship a step further.

In the Korean version the character's name will be Kang Yoon Kyung, but her nickname in the office remains "post-it" because she finds it hard to say no to anyone. Everyone at the office takes advantage of her.

On the same boat cruise is a wealthy young man who plans to propose to his girlfriend except that she never shows up. She realizes that her career is more important than he is and, anyway, his family didn't like her. Somehow Kang Yoon Kyung winds up sleeping with the chaebol. The next morning both wake up embarrassed.

They would like to forget the incident ever happened but she finds out that she is pregnant and so does his family who insists the couple get married. It's not the best set up for a successful marriage but eventually the two fall in love anyway and overcome the odds.

The Taiwanese and Korean versions are both based on the manga of the same name. The Taiwanese version did very well with ratings that would be the equivalent of 70 percent in Korea.

The drama will be produced by Number Three Pictures, which produced "Arang and the Magistrate." Lee Dong Yoon of "The Queen's Classroom" and "The Greatest Love" will direct. The drama will follow "Reformation," starring Park Min Young and Kim Myung Min, in July.
