Marvel fans, we've already seen the second trailer of X-Men: Days of Future Past and the official poster of the movie. Now let's get to know some of the new mutants that are joining Bryan Singer's new installment of the X-Men film franchise.

Sure we already know some big shots that are starting in X-Men: Days of Future Past like Wolverine, magneto, Professor X, Storm etc., but what about the "other" mutants, the ones that are joining the film?

Well for Marvel fans and for those who are new to them they, here are the new mutants that will join X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Bishop

Omar Sy plays Bishop in Days of Future Past. Bishop is a mutant with the ability to absorb all forms energy that is directed to him or in Lameman's terms physical contact. He can use the energy absorbed in a variety of ways such as energy blast or increase his physical abilities. Bishop came from another timeline and was born in a mutant concentration camp ruled by the Sentinels. He is a member of a mutant police force called Xavier's Security Enforcers, and eventually became a member of the X-Men after traveling to the Past to stop a mutant fugitive Trevor Fitzroy. This would be a good fit for Bishop as the film is set in the both the past and future.

Blink

Blink is the second mutant joining the film and she played by Chinese actress Fan Bingbing. Blink is a mutant with the ability to teleport herself and other people by opening portals. She can also use her powers in offense by throwing dagger like projectiles to opponents teleporting them "who knows where?" There are two versions of the character and she has been members of the X-Men, The New Mutants and The Exiles.

Warpath

James Proudstar a.k.a. Warpath is played by Boo Boo Stewart. In the comics he is the younger brother of John Proudster, who is known as Thunderbird during his time with X-Men before his death. James blamed the X-Men for his brother's death and fought them taking his brother's code name and join the Hellions. After realizing his brothers sacrifice for the team, he reconciled with X-Men and joined the group taking the name Warpath. He has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, durability, and senses. He can also fly and has two bowie knives for close combat. He also has supernatural capabilities as he has practice being an Apache shaman at his native Indian village. He is also a member of the Wolverine's black-ops team of X-Force.

Sunspot

Roberto da Costa also known as Sunspot is a mutant with the ability to absorb and channel solar power. He can use the absorbed solar energy to give him super strength, invulnerability and blast solar energy at enemies. Sunspot has been a founding member of the New Mutants, a sub-unit of the main X-Men team, as well as Cable's X-Force, The Hellfire Club, and most recently the Avengers. What sort of damage will Sunspot have in the film and he is played by Adan Canto

Quicksilver

Well not entirely new to the audiences, Pietro Maximoff also known as Quicksilver is included in two Marvel films; Days of Future Past and The Avengers sequel Age of Ultron played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Quicksilver here is played by Evan Peters, and like the comics his mutant powers involves super speed, agility, and reflexes and in the comics he is the son of Magneto and sister to Scarlet Witch, as he joined his father along with his sister to form the Brotherhood of Mutants. After that leaving their father, he as Scarlet Witch became members of the Avengers. Although not a member of the X-Men, a version of him in the Age of Apocalypse universe joined the group. He is also part of several teams such as X-Factor and the Inhumans.
