Get ready for some Xenomorph killing action as Alien: Isolation finally has a release date and fans are claiming it is by far the scariest title of Ridley Scott's Alien movie franchise.

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror stealth game based on the Alien franchise. The game follows the protagonist Amanda, Ellen Ripley's daughter as she searches for her and at the same time fighting off the Xenomorphs that plague the whole universe. Alien Isolation is set to release on October 7, 2014, a fitting date wouldn't we agree?

Alien: Isolation is developed by SEGA and The Creative Assembly. Alistair Hope, creative lead at Creative Assembly made a statement about the game saying that.

"We couldn't be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It's the Alien game that we've always wanted to play and we can't wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall."

Dan Whitehead addressed his opinion about the game in the Eurogamer preview of Alien: Isolation saying that.

"It's not just the jump scares, It's the anticipation of them, the tingle of vulnerability, the frisson that comes from not knowing what's around the corner - not just the first time you turn it, but every time after that."

Fans will surely feel the need to put the lights on while playing as a new trailer for the game has been released and it will give fans an insight on things to come.

Mark your calendars for October 7 because Alien: Isolation comes to you on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
