Wow, what is up with Japanese food these days? We've seen spaghetti flavored ice cream popsicles, cherry burgers from McDonald's, and not to mention anime inspired burgers. Now we get to see Kit Kat flavored pizzas and two Japanese food chains are claiming ownership of it. Check out a video on how to make one!
Nestle Japan has something cooked up and it's not only chocolate bars, they've expanded to making Kit Kat flavored pizzas and if you're wondering which is better? Well, why not try both at the same time.
There are several photos of the Kit Kat Pizza displayed above and two Japanese food chains have claimed ownership of the Kit Kat pizza: Strawberry Cones and Napoli no Kama.
Each has their own distinct style on the pizza; Napoli no Kama's "Kit Kat and Mango Dolce Pizza" is made from Kit Kats, mango slices, and two sauces, Gorgonzola and honey maple and it is worth 1,680 yen ($16). Strawberry Cones have also a version of its competitor called "Baked Kit Kat and Mango Dessert Pizza" and virtually identical as they've added nuts into it. It's also cheaper for 1,390 yen ($13).
For those who would rather stay at home and make one, here is a video that helps and teaches anyone to make their own Kit Kat pizza.
So what do you think of Japan's Kit Kat Pizzas? You'd be the judge if you actually tried it.
