Well looks its DOTA meets Dead Island as a new instalment of zombie apocalypse game called Dead Island: Epidemic gives some new flavor for gamers and a Beta version of it has been released with new game mode features. A video gives players a little insight of what Dead Island: Epidemic has in store for them thanks to a certain Kotaku blogger.

Dead Island: Epidemic is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena or MOBA spin-off of the Dead Island developed by Stunlock Studios. Unlike the previous games, Dead Island: Epidemic isn't in first-person view, you get to be on a team, buy weapons and items, and level-up your character, pretty much like DOTA but it also has it's difference for instance players can move around using WASD keys instead of clicking on the mouse and there are no item shops around the area, so players won't have trouble learning massive amounts of item list to look at.

The objective of the game is also different, instead of fighting against other teams, players will fight against zombies, collect supplies, and capturing control points.

There are different game modes in the game: Prologue, Horde Mode, and Scavenger Mode. Prologue is basically a tutorial mode to learn the basic of the basics. Horde Mode has players team up to defeat hordes of zombies in an area, and Scavenger mode is sort of a capture the flag type game were in teams will gather supplies and stop other players for getting your loot.

The Beta version of the game is available by signing up at https://www.deadislandepidemic.com/ to experience the game itself for free.
