The Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson shocked the other finalists and even the audience with her massive weight loss. The 24-year old voice-over artist entered the camp weighing 260 pounds and ended up as the season's biggest winner with a measly weight of 105 pounds.
Some people thought that Rachel was way too thin and they find that unhealthy. In a recent interview with E! Online, the Minnesota-born talent revealed that she gained about 20 pounds, and that she wasn't bothered about other people's negative reaction about her skinny figure.
The 15th season winner of the reality TV show told US Weekly, "It started a discussion about body image. That's huge." Rachel continued, "Since then, I've gone up about 20 pounds." She added, "I think I'm at my perfect weight."
So what's the secret of the former pastry chef? Rachel said, "I work out an hour, six days a week. I love classes like Soul Cycle. I also loosely count calories, but sometimes I might eat an Oreo. It's not the end of the world."
I guess that's a go signal for us to have some cookie once in a while coming from the person who had the biggest weight loss in America. Rachel posted how she felt about her weight loss challenge on her Facebook page. She wrote, "Navigating maintenance mode is a journey in itself! Can be daunting... but I'm just focusing on being the best me I can be everyday!!"
Rachel looked healthier and sexier when she had an appearance on the Today show last February. She told the TV host, "I did work so hard for the finale and for finding myself again." The 24-year old talent added, "I felt amazing on the stage. I felt like I shined in my dress. I got off the stage and Twitter was all abuzz. There was just so much chatter about it."
The Biggest Loser Rachel Frederickson winner admitted, "I'm in maintenance mode, which is just as hard as losing the weight, I think," She continued, "It's a big balance." Do you think she can maintain her ideal weight now that she is off the spotlight?
