Raising Hope Season 4 Finale: Fox had wrapped up the series of Raising Hope with a two-part finale. The first one was just like a typical Raising Hope episode. Burt, after realizing that he can retire because Virginia makes more money, had been on a hunt for finding his passion. He tried lots of stuff, but when he saw a TV commercial of a bounty hunter, he wanted to do it.
On the other hand, Jimmy and Sabrina had found out that they have a maid. The couple enjoyed the perks of having one and they had been abusing her kindness, unknowingly. Virginia came to them for help because she got worried with her husband becoming a bounty hunter. When she found Burt, she agreed to be her partner and they came across with the guy from the TV commercial. They chased the 'criminal' who liked drawing on stop signs. After which, Burt then realized that he was not ready to retire and still loved being a landscaper. Also, Jimmy and Sabrina fired their maid because they didn't want Hope to get used to having someone who does everything around for her.
On the second part, Arnold, father of Virginia, had showed up again. He had big news that he was engaged and he was also willing to pay for Hope's college education if Virginia plans the wedding for him.
Virginia brought out her "Virginia's Wedding Extravaganza Dream Book" in which all her preferences for her wedding were in. A package had arrived and Arnold said that it contains the harp of his lover. Frank and Mawmaw had planned to expose whatever Arnold was planning. They discovered and told everybody that he was faking. He then revealed that the wedding was for Virginia and inside the package was a replica of Princess Diana's dress. Everything was perfect, even Kenny Loggins was there to sing for the wedding.
Loggins played Danny's Song for the first dance of Hope and Virginia which Jimmy had requested because it was also the song they used to get Hope to sleep when the show began.
Jimmy's voiceover closed the series saying, "not everybody becomes a parent at the perfect time, some of us do it way too early, some of us do it way too late, the important thing is when you get the chance you make the most of it."
