The all new PlayStation Vita Slim has confirmed a release date and the handheld console also includes a Borderlands 2 bundle pack and an 8GB memory card. So mark your calendars because the PS Vita slim comes to video game stores very soon.
The PS Vita Slim will be released in North America on May 6 ,and you can pick up a unit at retailers in a special $200 bundle that includes a system and a copy of Borderlands 2. The game will also be sold separately digitally and at retailers, though you'll need to wait an extra week before you can purchase the game alone on May 13.
The specs for the PS Vita Slim includes a 1GB of internal memory, a new LCD display, better battery life, and a new design that Sony says makes the portable more comfortable to hold.
The Borderlands 2 bundle pack also includes an 8GB memory card and six previously released add-on packs such as Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgeu's Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character class, Mechromancer character class, Ultimate Vault Hunter's Upgrade pack, and the Collector's Edition pack.
The PS Vita has already been released in both Europe and Japan so PlayStation fans will get to enjoy the new slim version of the console when it becomes available this coming May.
