Playstion All-Stars Battle Royale 'Ultimate' Balance Update Adds 100+ Tweaks! Sony Hopes To Beat Super Smash Bros. Charizard, Yoshi And Greninja New Character Announcement With New Patch?

Good news for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale fans the ultimate balance update is out and it promises to turn the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale game into the best version it can be.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, whose downloadable content updates stopped for good last summer, nonetheless has been given an "ultimate balance update" that rolled out today.

In addition to more than 100 balance adjustments across all characters, the update also unlocks the third costumes for those who own the DLC characters Zeus (from the God of War series) and Isaac (of Dead Space). For those who don't have them yet, the price on the Graveyard Pack that includes them, and MediEvil's Graveyard stage, has been dropped to $1.99 until April 22.

Santa Monica Studio also announced that it has partnered with Level-Up Series to stage a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Spring Tournament at Super Arcade, in Walnut, Calif. It will be a 10-week, offline tournament but the action will be streamed weekly via Twitch. The streaming will be every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. PDT beginning this week.

The funny thing about this update is that it rolled out at the same time Nintendo revealed the new characters in the Super Smash Bros. game, the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale competitor. But did this announcement took away Nintendo's momentum? Not quite, as gamers are hyped for the upcoming SSB game because the announcement of new characters!

The new Super Smash Brothers game dubbed Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U added some new fighters in the block and they are Pokemon's Charizard and Greninja, the lovable dinosaur Yoshi, Princess Zelda and Sheik in Legend of Zelda series, and Zero Suit Samus.
