Big Sean recently called off his engagement to Naya Rivera. Should we have seen this coming right from the start?
In her song "Sorry," Rivera goes after Big Sean's ex when singing, "You had your fun, now it's done."
However, the "Glee" star might have spoke too soon because it looks like the rapper is done with her too.
Although the two are breaking their engagement, Sean's rep insist that rumors of the rapper cheating are false.
"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," a rep for the rapper told Us on Wednesday, following rumors of a split. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
Last April, at the premiere of "42," Sean and Rivera went public with their relationship. When October came along, they were engaged.
"Me and Naya is a great thing," Sean told MTV News in June. "That's my homey, more than anything. That's my girl."
In August, Rivera gushed over Sean in an interview with MTV too.
"He's been doing this a lot longer than I have professionally, so his advice is priceless," she said in regard to their musical working relationship. "I'll play him stuff and he'll give me little tweaks."
Besides praising her name in her song "Sorry," Sean also gave her a shout out in Drake's "All Me."
"My new girl is on 'Glee' and sh--/ Probably makin' more money than me and sh--," he rapped.
Rivera has yet to respond to the recent news of their broken engagement.
