Is the Flash TV show connected to the Man of Steel universe and will we see a crossover between the Flash TV show and the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie?

This is the question that popped into everyone's heads when Grant Gustin took a picture of himself with the "Man of Steel" Superman costume of Henry Cavill when he went to DC.

So is the Flash TV show and the Arrow TV show connected to the Man of Steel universe? Well, as of now, the showrunners haven't explicitly stated that there is or there isn't a connection between the two but fans should assume that there won't be any links between the TV shows and the Man of Steel universe.

But with the Justice League movie to be done in a few years from now, it can assumed that the Flash would appear on the movie, but which Flash?

All signs point to Wally West.

Wally West is the best choice for the Flash in the Justice League movie because he could be the one to provide the comedy bits for the team as it is rumored that the much more serious character, John Stewart will be the Green Lantern in the movie as opposed to the "funny guy" rendition of Hal Jordan as portrayed by Ryan Reynolds.
