Suits Season 3 Episode 16 Recap: Is this really the end of Harvey and Mike?

Harvey hadn't really expressed his happiness towards Mike's decision to stay. It seemed like he had another misunderstanding with Scottie which of course Donna noticed. She had always told Harvey the things to do on his relationship, but this time she just wants him to be happy.

On the other hand, Mike and Rachel were also on the rocks when he told her that he did not take the job and he's staying at Pearson-Specter. She was not happy about it because she wanted him to take the way out. Rachel held Mike's decision against him.

Mike was taken for questioning at the U.S. Attorney's office. Donna heard about this through her friend there and Harvey went there immediately. Just when they thought Mike was in for committing fraud, but they were wrong. He was accused of conspiring with Harold Gunderson to settle the Hessington case by bribing the witnesses. However, the U.S. attorney, Eric Woodall, really wanted Mike to point his finger to Harvey so he can take him down. Harvey interrupted their session and took Mike with him.

Mike returned to the firm telling Rachel what happened and also told her that he asked Lola to hack into the bar and put his records in. Rachel stormed out and wanted to get some fresh air. Harvey went to Jessica to inform her about the situation, but Scottie interrupted and Harvey withheld their information as it was business.

Donna met with her friend Stephanie and asked about Woodall. She told her that he has nothing against Mike and Harvey yet he wins with nothing. Harold went to Mike saying he had lost his job. They made their stories straight. They both got arrested for conspiring to defraud the US government.

Scottie went to Jessica and asked for the situation. However, she stood strong and didn't say anything. She was also accused of being like Edward Darby which made her frantic. Scottie left and wanted to get out of her non-compete. Harvey and Jessica agreed that if she wanted to go, she can go.

Mike and Harold had been held in two adjacent rooms. The two held on to their story. The fear of Harold breaking down and confessing had made everybody nervous. Louis had figured out and told Donna and Harvey where he was. Louis and Harvey agreed to defend Harold and Mike, respectively. Though Harold resisted having Louis represent him, he just needed his trust. Harvey had even given permission to Mike to blame everything on him. Consequently, Louis had saved them from the allegations and they all went out relieved.

They all went back to the firm. Harvey told Jessica that they were indeed becoming like Darby. He also confessed to Scottie that he loves her, yet he let her go. He also told her about Mike's fraud. Later on, Mike had told Harvey that he already called Sidwell and took the job offer. He just wanted to get his permission just like he had given him permission to point the finger at him. Mike didn't want to jeopardize the people he cares about so he's leaving.

Harvey shook Mike's hand as his means of approval and wanted to take him out for dinner since they were not going to see each other anymore. Mike reminds him that Sidwell is their client, so technically he's the boss now.

When Suits return for its fourth season, how do you think will the two changed men turn out?
